PPC Landing Page Tip:
I get a lot of new clients that are SMBs and do not have an on staff developer to help with landing pages. This tip is both for developers and SMBs. If you are creating a site or landing page that will be used for PPC, please make sure the form submits to a thank you PAGE, not a thank you message. This is the easiest way for a non-programmer to add conversion code and track success through PPC.
Many simple/free form plug-ins lead to a simple refresh method. Yes, you can use Analytics Event Tracking for this, but for the novice web master, a Thank You page works so much better. Programmers: Be sure to consider who and what you are designing for when developing. And, SMBs, be sure to ask for a Thank You page.
